Delete Your Account – Scanitect AI
We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your Scanitect AI account, this page explains what happens and how to request deletion.
1. What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your user profile (name, email address, profile information)
- Your scan history and saved landmark results
- Any uploaded photos stored on our servers
- Your subscription and credit balance information
- Authentication tokens and session data
2. What We May Retain
In certain cases, we may retain limited data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction records for financial and tax compliance
- Anonymized, aggregated usage data that cannot be used to identify you
3. Active Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Before requesting account deletion, please cancel your subscription through your app store account settings:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Scanitect AI → Cancel
- Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Scanitect AI → Cancel
4. How to Request Account Deletion
To delete your account, send an email to:
Please include the following in your email:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Body: The email address associated with your Scanitect AI account
5. Processing Time
We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving it. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and associated data have been deleted.
6. Account Deletion Is Permanent
Once your account is deleted, the action cannot be undone. You will not be able to recover your scan history, saved landmarks, or any other account data. If you wish to use Scanitect AI again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
